Chris Samuelson practices from the Houston/Galveston metropolitan area of Texas, where he has been defending DWI related offenses exclusively since 1997. Formerly a partner with a nationally known defense firm, Chris has trained with some of the best DWI trial attorneys in the country.

He is a member of the National College for DUI Defense, and has attended both the winter and summer programs in advanced DUI defense techniques. He is also a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA), the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

He has authored numerous articles on DUI/DWI related topics, and has lectured both nationally and internationally at a variety of legal seminars about DWI defense strategies. Chris has made numerous television and local news appearances. Recently, he has been contributing to the Ask the Experts column for H-Texas Magazine.  Chris has been published in TCDLA's "The Voice" and NACDL's "The Champion" numerous times. He has been called upon to provide media commentary on DWI related stories, and has been quoted in such publications as the Wall Street Journal. His materials have been published and/or presented at nationally attended DWI seminars, including the intensive summer program presented at Harvard Law School by the National College for DUI Defense.
